Corn Maze Field Trip
Our students had a great time at our field trip to the corn maze at The Farm in Snohomish. This is a great place to visit if you have never been there. The maze is in the shape of Washington State and all of the paths represent Washington State Highways and Interstates. The students have to follow a map to get to different places in the state and answer a question about its history. We joined up with our fellow Adventist schools in Everett and Stanwood so that our kids could have the change to meet new friends. We had a great time and the rain even held off until we got back in the car to come home.
Walk-a-thon Update
Wow! The students did a great job raising money for our Walk-a-thon. Our students raised over $1200.00 and each child walked between five and eight miles. With the money raised, the students picked out sports equipment to buy. We now have a new badminton/tennis net and equipment, large 48" ball, batting tee, portable soccer/hockey goals, hula hoops, and more. Thanks to everyone that supported the students in their efforts!
